Take a Ride!

These rides have been collected and compiled over time and may or may not be accurate due to changes/construction of new roads and road conditions. At the time of authoring, the author wanted to share a favorite ride with others.

SSHD, nor Tidewater VA Chapter attaches any kind of garantee that individuals will find these rides as fun/interesting as the author did, though others have enjoyed them in the past, this is up to the individual rider. Also remember "Your Safey" is up to you, ride your own ride, within your skill set. So with that said, we also hope you will enjoy these rides as much as those who have already riden them.

CHICKAHOMINY RIVER RUN LOOP
Ride a combination of country roads and major US and Virginia State highways in and around the greater Chickahominy River area.

RIDE THE PLANTATION LOOP
Out, around, over and back!

GREATER WILLIAMSBURG RESERVOIRS, LAKES, AND PONDS TOUR
Ride past secluded ponds and pristine lakes via backcountry roads in and around Williamsburg.

TWO FERRY PUTT
The main features of this ride are the 2 small ferry's (The Merry Point & the Sunnybank Ferry's, capacity limited to 2 cars or 10 motorcycles) on the Northern Neck and the lunch stop at Cockrells Creek Seafood Deli.

THREE FERRY PUTT
This ride takes you across three of Virginia's ferry's (Jamestown, Sunnybank and the Merry Point Ferry, all free of charge), scenic back roads, and lunch.

SUFFOLK LAKES TOUR TO FIND YER NUTS
Take the ferry across the James River and get rollin' through the Isle of Wight countryside towards the lakes and reservoirs of Suffolk...
